| We discuss how one can deduce the Volume Formula for compact semisimple Lie groups using the asymptotic expansion of the heat trace. We use the metric induced by the Killing form and the corresponding Laplace-Beltrami operator. The main tools are Euler-Maclaurin Formula and Weyl Integration Formula. |
