| We consider a Holder continuous linear cocycle over a transitive Anosov diffeo-
morphism f : M → M . This is an automorphism F of a vector bundle over M
that pro jects to f . One of the primary examples comes from the differential Df or
its restriction to a Holder continuous invariant sub-bundle of T M . Under various
conditions of relative pinching, we establish properties of F including existence and
continuity of measurable invariant sub-bundles and conformal structures. Then we
obtain criteria for a cocycle to be isometric or conformal in terms of its periodic
data. |
