| Yee and Huber (2009) defined and studied half descents on alternating permutations. They derived permutation generating functions that incorporate inversions and half descents together. A generalization of half-descents on a subclass of permutations will be defined, and some related two-variable permutation generating functions will be given. Proofs will be sketched as time allows. This is joint work with Ae Ja Yee. |
