| Title: | Analysis on the Worm Domain |
| Seminar: | Department of Mathematics Colloquium |
| Speaker: | Steve Krantz, AIM |
| Abstract: |
| We study the famous worm domain of Diederich and Fornaess.
This domain has been important for various significant
counterexamples in multi-dimensional complex analysis.
We explain the history, and present a new asymptotic
expansion for the Bergman kernel on this domain.
Applications are given to the regularity of
the inhomogeneous Cauchy-Riemann equations and other
important artifacts of complex function theory.
The talk will be accessible to a broad audience, including
graduate students. |
