| This series of talks will present some recent work of Humiliere, Entov-Polterovich
and Buhovski, on the C^0 deformation of the Poisson bracket on a symplectic manifold. Among others, we will discuss Humiliere's hamiltonian pseudo representations, and his proof of the non-existence of Hofer metrics on the group of hamitonian diffeomorphisms with unrestricted support, and his proof of the Gromov-Eliashberg rigidity theorem. |
