| We consider shock waves of arbitrary strength in the p-system of
isentropic gas dynamics. After describing shock waves and defining
wave strengths, I'll give an estimate for the interaction of two
shocks. This includes upper and lower bounds, and is uniform in the
reference state (up to vacuum). |
