| This seminar talk is DEDICATED TO PROFESSOR A. R. RAO OF COMMUNITY SCIENCE CENTER, AHMEDABAD, INDIA, ON HIS 100TH BIRTHDAY.
We consider the normalized parameter measure on a finite piece of a smooth (C^n) curve on the unit tangent bundle of a compact (or finite volume) hyperbolic $n$-manifold, and let it evolve under the geodesic flow. We show that, under a natural geometric condition on the curve, the evolved measures tend to get equidistributed in the unit tangent bundle in the limit. |
