|A closed Riemannian manifold M is said to be "secure"
if there is a number n, such that for any two points p,q in M
there exist n points in M such that any geodesic connecting
p and q contains at least one of these points. So far the
only known secure manifolds are flat. It is conjectured that flat
manifolds are the only secure ones. In this talk we will discuss
some results about security of manifolds, then we will show that
the conjecture is true for 2-dimensional, orientable non-simply
