| This talk is devoted to the minimization problem for the Ginzburg-Landau
functional in multiply-connected domains with prescribed degrees on the
connected components of the boundary. We prove Berlyand-Mironescu's
conjecture concerning nonexistence of minimizers in
doubly-connected domains $A$ with ${\rm cap}(A)<\pi$. |
