|Title:||Strongly Correlated Quantum Systems in the Form of Trees|

|In this talk, I will outline the tree tensor network (TTN) simulation method for strongly correlated quantum systems, as outlined by Legeza, Murg, Noack, and Verstraete [arXiv:1006.3065v1]. This method will be compared with the density-matrix renormalization method, which has been commonly used in the field of quantum entanglement for the last two decades. Time allowing, we will consider the techniques presented in my previous talk on finding the invariants of phylogenetic trees and discuss how they translate to this setting.|
