| There are many natural cohomology classes on moduli spaces of stable
curves. Reletions among such classes produce universal equations for
Gromov-Witten invariants for all compact symplectic manifolds. These
equations can be used to compute Gromov-Witten invariants and study the
Virasoro conjecture proposed by string theoriests Eguchi, Hori, and
Xiong.In this talk, I will describe the current state of the universal
equations and their applications. |
