| In a recent paper, Andrews defined $k$-marked Durfee Symbols,
provided and proved a number of identities and congruences involving the
generating function $R_k$, among which are certain symmetries. Mainly,
analytical methods are used in the proofs. The talk focuses on a
generalization of a symmetry result along with a combinatorial proof, and
a combinatorial explanation of a recurrence stated in the paper. This is a joint work with Cilanne Boulet, Cornell University. |
