| Let G be a nilpotent Lie group with Lie algebra g. The Kirillov's theory says that there
is a one-to-one correspondence between the coadjoint orbit g
= Ad
(G) and a collection of
equivalence classes of irreducible unitary representations of G, denoted by Gb. The goal is to
prove this theory by using C*-algebra. We de ne the new two C
-algebras A and B and then
show that Ab = Gb and Bb = g
= Ad
(G): Then we complete the proof by showing that A = B. |
