| The understanding of the importance of small parameters in compressible
fluids is a fundamental question. In this talk, the convergence from
solutions of compressible viscoelastic fluids to the solution of the
incompressible Navier-Stokes equations without external forces is
considered for ill-prepared initial data as the Mach number and
the elastic coefficient go to zero simultaneously. For the inviscid case
in two dimensions, the limit will be Yudovich's solution of incompressible
Euler equations. A possible extension to compressible
magnetohydrodynamical fluids with zero magnetic
diffusivity will also be considered. |
