| The peridynamics theory of solid mechanics is a nonlocal reformulation of classical continuum mechanics. We will provide an overview of peridynamics and
describe different features of the theory, demonstrated through several applications and connections to other classical models. Some current challenges in
peridynamics will be discussed. |
