| This talk discusses the group of Hamiltonian
homeomorphisms defined by Yong-Geun Oh and myself and introduced in
this seminar earlier this semester. I will quickly review the basic
constructions, which at some point involve a certain choice of norm. A
priori this leads to different objects. I will give the proof that the
resulting Hamiltonian homeomorphism groups are in fact identical. I
will elaborate on the choice of norm and discuss some related results,
possible applications, and open problems, as much as time permits." |
