| We shall give an exposition of Ledrappier's paper "Positivity of the exponent for stationary sequences of matrices." In this paper appears in a seminal form some rigidity phenomena that were exploited later by several authors (this consequences will be the subject of forthcoming lectures). In particular it is studied the consequences of having 0 exponents for matrix cocycles over general measurable systems and applications to particular examples. |
