| This will be an introductory talk on differential games,
addressed to a general mathematical audience.
I shall start by presenting some classical examples
of pursuit or evasion games, such as: "Lion and man",
"Homicidal chauffeur", and "Lady in the lake".
For all these "zero-sum" differential games, a general
mathematical approach relies on the analysis
of the Hamilton-Jacobi equation for the value function. |
