| In this talk, I shall explain how Lie groupoids are used to define interesting
classes of pseudo-differential operators that are adapted to singular objects.
I shall highlight how the theory of b-pseudodifferential calculus on manifolds
with embedded boundary by Melrose et. al. fits into this framework. Then I
shall discuss how some elements in b-pseudodifferential calculus generalize to
other examples, in particular that of the Bruhat Poisson structure on the
sphere. |
