Mathematical Fluid Mechanics

The Department of Mathematics at Penn State University has a unique and active group in fluid dynamics - which includes strengths in numerical analysis, complex fluids, and laboratory experiments. The presence of the Pritchard Lab in our department was conceived to conduct high precision experiments which, when allied with analytical and computational approaches, affords a three-pronged attack on fundamental questions of natural phenomena.
