Online Positions

Online Course Instructor

Subject to funding and instructional needs, a part-time or full-time instructional position for online course offerings may be available for one year commencing August 2012. Dependent on experience and interest, the position may include resident instruction and technology support; thus, applicants who will reside in the vicinity of the University Park campus will be strongly preferred. Interest and documented expertise in teaching quantitative general education courses, precalculus and calculus are essential.  Candidates must have expertise to contribute to the development of new or existing courses which will be appropriate for web-based delivery, and of quality assurance and assessment standards.  A Ph.D. in mathematics is preferred; a master`s degree is required. Review of applications will begin on March 1, and will continue until the position is filled. All reference letters should address teaching.
