Helpful derivative/integral guide
This guide is a place for you to organize information. In order for it to be helpful, you need to fill it out.
Exam 1 is made up of 14 multiple choice questions, each worth 5 points
and 3 "partial credit" problems for which you must show work to
receive full credit.
The format of the exam will be much like that of previous exams
available on line, however, the coverage of topics may change from
semester to semester.
Students are expected to know the following types of identities:
reciprocal identities, Pythagorean identities, double angle
formulas for sine and cosine,
half-angle formulas (for integrating sine-squared and cosine-squared).

7.1: 2 questions

8.1: 2 questions
8.2: 1 question
8.3: 1 question
8.4: 1 question
Partial Credit problems are three integrals, each worth 10 points.
You must determine a method and proceed to evaluate each
integral, showing all steps.
